Flowers for Elizabeth

I lost a friend and a co-worker 10 days ago. She was one of the main recipients of my creative projects. Her smile and sense of humor were the gratitude I loved to get from her when I brought her what-ever-holiday card it was for the month. Her bulletin board was covered by old and new cards made by me. I will miss her.

So, this weekend, I made a goal to construct 3D flowers. My favorite is the heirloom rose that looked just like the one I cut from my garden. (Stampin Up Punches used: Fancy Flower, an old snowflake style, Boho Flowers and I corrugated a trimmed oval for the leaves)For the rose color: I sponged Orchid Opulence ink on a dusty rose cardstock from Creative Memories. I thank my friend Terri-Lynn for the idea to make the little rose buds and to use the snowflake for the green part. Although, we thought it might work better on a strawberry. That will be another day.

PS. And please, everyone, always wear a safety belt. And NEVER take it off when the car is moving.
