Tile Coasters and Trivets Gift Sets

Italian Tumbled Marble Tile Coaster and Trivet Sets

(Each tile coaster and trivet uniquely handcrafted by Makani Lew)
Back in 2004, I made gift Coaster and Trivet sets. Here are some pics and info about them.

3 styles available:

• Tuscan style fruit hand-stamped on marble tiles.
• Celestial Flare of the Ischian Sun with it's majestic face surrounded by stars and swirls.
• Leaves- The wonders of nature in black and green skeleton leaves scattered on the tiles.
• Travel Europe on each tile images of Paris, Rome and the continent abound.
• A perfect gift for everyone- gift presentation sets available!

There are currently 3 designs with more designs under development. Custom designs and ink colors are possible; however, please contact Makani directly to determine the price.  The quarter is pictured to give relative size.

European Travel Set. You can pick to have all of the same image or an assortment as shown here. Although the picture doesn't show it, each tile has that same texture as the tiles pictured above.

Important Details:
• Trivet set: 2- 6x6 inch tiles
• Coaster set: 4- 4x4 inch tiles
• Unique Design.  Each tile has its own unique stamp design layout and quality. Each piece of marble has unique weathered markings and notches.
• Permanent ink. This allows you to wash your trivets and coasters without worry of fading the design. Most stains come out easily with some scrubbing.
• Porous tile surface. Allowing liquids to seep into the stone (and avoid running off onto your nice wooden tables).
• Gift-presentation or loose tile sets available.

As the creative bug comes over me, new designs keep popping up. I expect some will be Asian images as well as some more of the European theme.

When buying directly from the artisan, Makani Lew, you save quite a bit. The cost in the local retail stores is $40/ set.

Loose tiles:
Individual coasters- $5.00/4x4 inch tile plus S&H
Individual trivets- $10.00/6x6 inch tile plus S&H

S&H:  SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS:

All orders will be shipped separately by priority mail in a flat rate envelope. Optional insurance is available.
