Playing with ink and paper- Tea's on!

I love crafting. I love it all... how it takes 3 hours to make that one card... figuring out how to do some certain effect... finding the perfect sheet of pretty designer paper to go with the card... yup- true love.
So here is the effect of having one day to play... :)

WILLOW WARE INSPIRED - TEA TIME
My mother-in-law collected tea pots and used blue Willow Ware exclusively for all daily use.
I loved it. So when I was working on this card, I kept thinking blue and white...
Stampin' Up! stamp sets: A Nice Cuppa (and matching Cups and Kettle Framelits dies) and some homemade designer paper using the scattered flowers from Perpetual Birthday Calendar.

TEACUP HERB GARDEN
Stampin' Up! stamp sets: A Nice Cuppa (and matching Cups and Kettle Framelits dies) and Flowering Fields (2016 Sale-A-Bration)
The designer paper is Twitterpated (retired) designer paper.

This next card is another sunburst card... and
here's how I glued all the "throw away" pieces down without having to piece it all together...
I cut the paper with the die cut, flipped it over and put liquid glue on the "throw away" pieces.

Then I put the cardstock over the upside down and gluey pieces and pressed for a while with my fingers and a bone folder to get the pieces to stick to the cardstock.

In the end I get two cards- the positive and the negative design.

Here is the final card I made with that piece...
Stampin' Up! stamp sets: Kinda Eclectic (the sun rays and "a little kindness goes a long way", Ray of Sunshine (the sun's face), and Sunburst Sayings ("you brighten my day" and the squiggles and line of dots) with matching Sunburst Framelit Die.
SUNSHINE KINDNESS

And the non-SU! card for the day was using those Tim Holtz Crazy Birds finally...
THANKS FOR ALL MY FRIENDS
