Well, I decided to start a blog... Christmas is over.... but I'm considering leaving the LED colorful lights up as my permanent porch light.
My favorite thing to do EVERY day (and no, I don't get sick of it) is to create something or organize my stamping supplies. (I think I'm part librarian and part artist.)
I thought I'd start with a post of my masterpiece from last night. (Click on the photo to see a much bigger and detailed view). The house, tree, lamp and Santa sleigh are all A Muse stamps. The saying is from The Cat's Pajamas. I used green, gold, red, and purple Stickles glitter glue to make the Christmas lights shiny and bright. And I used white Liquid Applique for all the snow (including the snowman that I added eyes, buttons and even stick arms with my new and very loved Copics .35mm pen. The moon is made by punching out a circle from a post it note and then sponging in the yellow.
I have lots of my older works posted in my SplitCoastStampers gallery... check it out (and leave a comment if you like, it makes a stamper happy). http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=91627
Lastly, you can get these stamps at my favorite local store: Stamp on Over. It is located in the Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. Here is the website: http://www.stamponover.com/index.html
So to finish, thanks to all those fantastic ideas out there... don't we just LOVE stamping!? ~Makani
